11 Days | 10 Nights – Argentina

The Provincial Route 41 that joins Los Antiguos to the south with Lake Posadas passing by changing landscapes of forest, steppe, high pasture and Cordillera. The Provincial Route 43 that joins Perito Moreno with Los Antiguos bordering the second largest lake in South America that is shared with Chile to reach the marble Chapels. The National Route 40, the most emblematic of the routes, allows us to reach El Chalten and the iconic Perito Moreno Glacier as the closing of this journey.

What’s in Patagonia Argentina Park?
Three Scenic Routes recognized by the beauty of their landscapes: the provincial routes 41 and 43 and the emblematic National Route 40, famous for crossing Argentina from north to south. Among the variety of landscapes offered, we highlight the following:

  • The Cueva de las Manos (Cave of Hands) Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses more than 9.000 year old paintings
  • The Pinturas Canyon and Caracoles Canyon, imposing valleys surrounded by walls up to 300 meters high that house cave paintings
  • The Plateau of Lake Buenos Aires, habitat of the tobiano macaw, an endemic grebe of the province of Santa Cruz that is in danger of extinction and has  its last refuge here

When to go?
Due to climatic reasons it is advisable to organize your trip for the period between the months of November and April.

What to bring?
Warm clothes, something that is not spared in Patagonia, but in this adventure we suggest you not to forget binoculars and camera since the sighting is as much part of the trip as the landscapes.
